Lol, some people are really downplaying what she has done. Yes, she was born into a family that had money to begin with, but she still had to turn millions into more millions and now it's a tremendous amount. She had to take advantage of what she had, plan her business approach, take the risks of executing that plan and of course put in the work. Not everybody could have made that happen. So many lottery winners, for example, go back to being their old, broke-ass selves not too many years after acquiring their wealth. I bet that would happen to most, if not all of us, here as well.

A lot of holes in your argument. Namely, the fact that poor people arent exactly good with money to begin with and the fact its easier to get from a millionaire to a billionaire than it is to get from ~50k a year to a millionaire.

Kylie simply saved up her money and most likely didn't buy as much stuff as her sisters. m I'd say Kylie is a lot smarter than many of us give her credit for. Even if she received a lot of help, at least she was smart enough to realize she needs to save her money and use all the opportunities she has to get where she is today.

You know how many singers, actors and entertainers would be Billionaires by now if they didn't waste their money on bullshit trying to front all the time? Jay-Z, Puffy, Dwayne Johnson, the list goes on and on. Michael Jackson should have been a Billionaire man. Damn. Of course, their situation is different. They didn't come from rich families and I'm sure people were always hitting them up for money.

Johnny Depp could have been a Billionaire but the guy wasted all his money on beer and drugs.
Got this little Kardashian/Jenner girl making fools out of people. Good for her for learning a lesson about money at such a young age. And good for Kim for getting people out of prison who don't deserve to be there too long. After all the trash people talked about them?
Damn. I never saw this coming. I figured she was just making a few million a year doing her make-up thing.

This kinda messes me up though. It's just weird knowing that she's gonna be a Billionaire before any if these guys who could have easily did it quicker. Michael Jackson for sure could have.

Powerhouse stage mom Kris Jenner manages the business side of Kylie Cosmetics in exchange for a 10 percent cut, says Forbes. Kylie Cosmetics' overhead costs are very low, Forbes points out, making her profit margin very, very high.

This explains it. I apologize for the long post. I'm just in shock.

You're crazy if you think being born 'rich' to a family with 7 figures means you can easily be a billionaire. She clearly deserves some credit for multiplying her money so rapidly.

There is no evidence for this statement whatsoever.

There are loads of millionaires out there. Loads. There are literally only about 2,750 billionaires in the world. On the other hand, there are over 15 million millionaires just in the US alone.

https://www.usnews.com/news/best-countries/articles/2017-11-17/number-of-millionaires-in-america-hits-new-high

So yeah, this is completely incorrect actually. One in every 20 Americans is a millionaire.

That's because these millionaires are not evenly distributed across the US. There will be more in places like LA, SF, NYC, etc. than in like rural Nebraska.

You can't become a Billionaire easy. But it is easier to become one if you save your money and learn from people's past mistakes. Her Mom being in charge of business certainly helps too.

The pool of millionaires is a lot smaller than the pool of sub-millionaires. Also, hitting 1 million is not a huge feat given the number of baby boomers with retirement accounts. In high cost of living areas, it means even less.

Yeahhh, nah.

I never said being a millionaire or billionaire was easy. Plus your 1 in every 20 Americans is a millionaire thing doesnt take into effect socio economic class or environment. Its not eeny meeny miney mo, every 20th American is a millionaire because its the land of opportunity.

Its significantly easier to become a millionaire when you come from a well off family that makes 6+ figures, you can go to college and be surrounded with people of similar backgrounds and gain advantageous positions due to who you know.

Come from a poor socio-economic class where you cant afford college (not that its easy to afford regardless lol) and your family struggles to pay bills and its slim to none chance of getting very far ahead. That and less doors are open when taking a day off work means you dont have enough money to get by. You can do alright for yourself going to college, taking student loans or learning a trade. But you wont have the advantage someone from a financially better off family would, being able to study full time and attend higher education without worry about paying rent and the like. Come from a household where theres a single parent making 40k and its quite a bit more difficult.

Its much easier/(actually possible) to invest money and get out of a time for money exchange when you arent living paycheck to paycheck and dependent on every last dime.

Though not a billionaire, the owner's son of the business I work for has 2 mil waiting on him and he's only 17.

But he doesn't get it (early) unless he finishes school and get some college.

He and his older sister (who also has 2 mil in dibs) have been hanging around the plant doing summer work until school starts back.

From my observation the sister seems to want to be part of the business and the boy might go and do his own thing.

Fun kids though.

We pick on them about being our future bosses and owners if any of us are still around.
