I go about twice a year for long weekends or a week and usually spend about that. Be prepared to deal with a lot of donkeys if you plan to sit at a 1/2 NL table though. That's chump change for a lot of guys and they will call any bet. Sit and wait for the nuts is probably your best strategy and let some idiot pay you off and get the hell out of dodge. That's the one perk of playing at a 2/5 table. Give the person a $20 when they ask for your ID and card at check in and say that its your first time in Vegas and someone told you that a tip can get you a room upgrade. They will move you to a strip view at the least and sometimes an entire different class of room.
