some countries police have absolute authority. like if they think you're drunk driving and want blood, they'll take your blood by any means necessary. of course they have other means to prove your toxicity but it doesn't mean they'll use it.

Not if you have a gun and know how to use it properly for self defense, and a lot of people have had bad experiences with the police. Does not help that the police are still doing insane shit like gunning unarmed people down even after all the scandals.
