And that money was free from all the trophies I earned on PSN.

I'm playing Rogue Galaxy now, but I'm looking forward to playing all these PS2 games I missed.

Good taste.

Rogue Galaxy has to be one of the more underrated RPGs for the PS2.

DC2 > WA3 > RG

imo of course

Well that's good. I'm love RG so far. I had a friend that had DC2 and it looked like fun.

Thanks. Let me know any other PS2 Classic JRPG's to look for (Besides Tales, KH, DQ, or FF).

I wouldn't call it a JRPG necessarily, but Brave Fencer Musashi was really good iirc (it was the PS2 one).

Wild Arms 3 is fucking awesome!! I've been wanting to replay it for a long time but I don't have a PS2 anymore. :/

I didn't really like Rogue Galaxy and I've never played Dark Cloud 2.

Persona 3 and 4, Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne, Digital Devil Saga 1 and 2.
Suikoden 3 and 5. (4 isn't worth it in my opinion)
Shadow Hearts, Shadow Hearts: Covenant
Radiata Stories
Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria
Ys: The Ark of Napishtim
Stella Deus: The Gate of Eternity

Just a few I'd personally recommend. Dunno about the availability of these games though so I don't know if they'd be on the PStore or not.

You're thinking of Musashi: Samurai Legend, Brave Fencer Musashi was on the PS1.

Yup. 10 plats = 10 bucks. And you get points for gold and silver too.

Dark Cloud 2 was great but its repetitive nature took its toll on me by the 5th or 6th area

Wild Arms 3 was a fucking blast but the difficulty spike somewhere after you get the horses made me quit and I'm not happy about that

are you sure that you're not just accidentally ventured into a higher level field/dungeon? common mistake in JRPG when people get the new mode of transportation.

No I was definitely on the right track, I'm sure I could have grinded but I just remember the enemies at that point being super super hard. One day I'll start over and try again

rogue galaxy is fun but incredibly cliche
everything it does has been done 100 times before and done better
its not a bad game but not a super memorable one either

one thing i love about that train boss (Janus) is his appearance and movement set is basically Ashley's (WA2 main character).
his personality and attitude is polar opposite tho.

Yeah I've earned quite a bit through trophies by now. Getting multiple silver and gold really add up over time and you can do it as many times as you'd like. I already like to platinum games, so getting a few bucks every few months is a nice feature.

Yep. As a kid I thought he was related to him or something. WA2 was my first ever WA game (and I loved it).
