You really have two options

1. You can invest in yourself, work hard, get a good education, in demand skills and have some market value that employers are willing to pay well for,

OR

2. You can be on the wrong side of history. Demand society and employers conform to your out of date and obsolete skills. $30 an hour for unskilled labor like flipping burgers. Open a business for repairing knight's armor and wonder why no one is paying you for your outdated skills
