There's a reason why people are fleeing their countries. Look at Mexico...only 2% of crimes are solved by the police. That is AWFUL. Can you imagine having your house robbed, only for the cops to not even show up to help?

In those countries, police don't help. You're on your own. Americans don't realize how INCREDIBLY safe our country is compared to others around the world. Why are we punishing these guys for coming over? They're just looking for safety. For a better life. Those who are all "THEY SHOULD COME IN LEGALLY!!!", do you even realize how tough it is to become an American citizen? One, it's crazy expensive. When you're choosing between life and death, leaving your sketchy country might be the only option.

With just a quick Google search, America takes in 1million people a year from these countries, but how many people are being born in these Countries? Let's look at Mexico, who have 2.21 birthrates (18.3 births/1,000 population) and the total population is over 100M

America takes in 1million from everywhere. We could double that to 2million, hell we could save 10million a year, but guess what, they will not help either since those Countries that these people are fleeing are birthing more than 10million people a year

They can't be saved coming to America, people need to go there and help the people in their own Country. We don't have the room, we don't have the resources, and it's an impossible task with the birthrate being so high all over the world.

Because gang members will just take a plane and enter the legal, comfortable, and relaxing way. Remember, the cartels run the countries in Latin America; they don't have a need to come up to the US unless they're going for vacation. They have other people dropping off drug shipments and returning from the US with heavy artillery to maintain their stronghold. The people migrating, on the other hand, are seeking political asylum for safety of their lives on the run from the cartels.
