My last girlfriend wasn't like full SJW but she was a pretty radical feminist and it kind of came across like she had a victim complex sometimes. It was pretty annoying. Also, she was pro-choice but she said she would never have an abortion herself... and she also always wanted me to hit it raw and pull out. I didn't have the willpower to say no but every time we did it I would just be like ahhhhh fuck why did I just do that... lol

I guess it's not a dealbreaker for me as long as we share the same core values

I can't handle anyone at either extreme. Pretty much just looking to date someone moderate or someone not into politics at all.

really? not even a libertarian? i probably wouldn't date a republican but that seems like a lot of girls to rule out from square one

Yeah honestly I'd be real down for apolitical bae at this point, my first girlfriend didn't really give a fuck and she just lived her life and it was great not to get into arguments about it all the time

I wouldn't care if my significant other voted for the other presidential candidate or anything, however I would say the core values on how life/family/the world should work would definitely have to be close to mine. If I am going to spend the rest of my life and raise a family with this person, that would be important.

That's true too... I forget who I heard this from, might have been Bill Maher or someone on his show, but they made the point that it's nbd if a kid's parents are different religions because you can just teach the kid about both and let them make their own decisions - but if you're real different politically you're going to have a new fight over what to teach your kid every other minute
