Unlike literally everyone else valve made their changes on the down low without really spamming it in the users faces. I only noticed something was amiss when I noticed I couldnt see what some people in a chat I was in were playing.

Really? I had an email from them about it.

They might have sent me an email but I tuned out and auto click "mark as read" on valve emails after that sale where they were sending 20something emails a day about "A game on your wishlist is on sale".

Had my LASIK consultation today! First Nurse said my eyes would be really iffy and a real close numbers game, but the Doctor said I was an excellent candidate and showed me what my eyes should be after surgery if healing goes well, which was amazing. Scheduled my surgery for August and I'm already buzzing around excited and worried lol

Zestiria had its issues, but was still an enjoyable game imo, they both play differently than Symphonia kinda, so you're in for a treat

Yeah I got in asap. Was on Planet of Speedrunners for Ori but I do want Stardew more, but chances for both are slim anyways.

Also the Reboots Planet is sitting at 95% right now. The Amnesia Planet is next up which has Amnesia: The Dark Descent, Remember Me, The Witcher: Enhanced Edition Director's Cut, and To the Moon

Agreed. I'm sure there are one or two people here remember my several rants about how awful I thought Zestiria was after playing it for about 6 hours and trying to get a refund on it (eventually succeeded!).

I enjoyed TotA well enough, but Symphonia was my far and away favorite at the time. I eventually went on to play every single one of the Tales games, including the non-main series titles that weren't even in English, lol. Currently, I'd say Vesperia, Symphonia, and Berseria make up my favorites. The rest either have issues with the story being awful (Graces/Graces f, Hearts R), the pacing being terrible (Xillia 2 is especially bad for this), or having some other random issues (Legendia was terrible but with great music, Zestiria was just a mediocre/terrible package all around, and I don't recall much that happened in Rebirth and Innocence because I can't read Japanese).

Basically, you picked one of the better 3D ones to start with, since the battle system it uses was improved in Vesperia (one of the best) and Xillia/Xillia 2 (I love em, but it did use a link system that miffed some). I'm going to pick that up for sure. Maybe I can finally get my wife to play it. She basically stopped playing any and all Tales games after ToS Dawn of the New World.

"Courage is the magic that turns dreams into reality" still haunts her to this day.

They will be replaced with the Isometric Planet where you have a chance at Back to Bed, Bastion, Lara Croft GO The hit sequel to Pokemon GO jk, and Tower of Time

Planet of Mold-breaking Metroidvanias II which has Cave Story+, Dandara, Guacamelee! Gold Edition, and Necrosphere.

Everything else should stay up until mid-late afternoon / evening EST unless the botters go crazy

Tales of the Abyss didn't really click with me. Plotwise it seemed like half the conversations were the magical equivalent of technobabble the you needed to have played previous games to understand. The characters were also fairly boring and one dimensional. Maybe the plot got better if you made it more than 5 hours in but it didn't hook me enough to play more than that. I didn't feel investment in the game at all, possibly because Luke was utterly unrelatable.

Mechanically it felt awkward to me, like it wanted to be Star Ocean but lacked the fast pace that made the Star Ocean combat engaging. Enemies were also extremely bland, although I don't think I made it to a significant boss fight.

Taking over an hour for anything at all to happen probably didn't help. Cutscenes and stuck literally in Luke's elaborate mansion definitely killed forward momentum
