To be fair, I don't think GameStops buy back rates are as bad as people make them out to be. Especially considering the little effort it takes you as a seller.

if they're million sellers, their prices go down because theres a shit load of them in circulation, ESPECIALLY if they come out yearly and are obsolete in 6 months. So imagine the lack of fucks customers will give for a 2 or 3 year old copy, let alone one that is a decade old

and with Pawn Stars being a popular show, you would think people would be less upset that we can't give them as much as we sell them for, the damn store needs to make a profit

the store is like a pawn shop, its more for speed and convenience, theres more profitable ways to do it, yea, and if you wanna do that, nobody is forcing you to go to Gamestop

Actually the memes start when if you buy a game brand new and trade it in 30 seconds later, you were offered $25 bucks which you would sell again 3 minutes later for $55 bucks used.

GameStop had a relatively terrible practice, and it is reaping what it sows. It bought out all the competition to try and consolidate it's place of bad habits on people. Then Walmart and Amazon wrecked them.
