Zombies

If I live to be 80, there will probably never be a time when I say, "I wanna see this new zombie movie."

Princes and Princesses

What's the point of perpetuating this cliche? I'm a bit tired of seeing the princess forget her status for the first guy who rescues her from a bad situation. The same goes for watching a prince ride in on his high horse and marry the most desirable woman of the working class.

I get that you're trying to channel the classic fairy tales, but it just smacks of cliche and convention. It's like people adding incest to a tragedy because Oedipus Rex is the all-time great tragedy.

First-Person Shooters

I'll probably never play another one except maybe to plug in GoldenEye and relive a little bit of nostalgia. The graphics and gameplay don't hold up, but it was never about that for me. It was entirely about exploring James Bond's world.

I would add vampires to the list, but I know I'd be there opening night if they made a Dracula movie that actually resembled the novel.

The concept of true love. I think there are truly great connections which can last a lifetime, but the idea that a soulmate is irreplaceable - no, they are, even though it can be a bitch.
