As for why, I don't have much in the way of family, those I do have like my mom aren't in good health. I don't know, I've always wanted a family of my own, where I wouldn't repeat a trend that's hspprmed with most of my family being pieces of shit. Not something I'd want anytime soon, I'd like to spend a lot of time with my s/o, travel, and have time to just be happy ourselves. But eventually I'd like to have a family experience, sort of give my kids a better childhood than I had and actually have a healthy relationship without all of the abuse in my family. Also adoption is always something I've considered just to be able to offer an innocent child a quality home life. A good portion of me feels like I'm already damaged goods though and wouldn't be good for a child.
