Almost every time one of these topics are posted, everyone jumps the gun and floods the topic with outrage, and shitting on people who say they need more details. Then when the story is updated the topic falls flat and nobody posts again because there are always details that change the story.

Why is it when people point out the shit that black people have to deal with , there are some people who call those people racist.

This happens every time a white kid gets a $2 bill from their grandparents and tries to use it at the cafeteria, the bill has been out of print for so long that not many cashiers know it's a real thing.

The $2 bill is still in print, just circulated in low numbers. You can ask for them at a bank.

Again, anykind of potential counterfeit has to be given to the cops, who end up having to turn it over to the fbi. The federal government takes this shit seriously. Its a huge deal.

It obviously looked suspicious because it was 70 fucking years old, so they used the counterfeit pen and it failed.

They called the cops because counterfeiting is common in that area.

The more times people take stories like these out of context to bolster their agenda, the less likely people are to believe actual cases of racism.

To be fair, the article does mention this.

It's unclear if all the students tagged for forgery are minorities. In the 29 pages of Cy-Fair ISD police records, abc13 found five students investigated who were listed as black, three students investigated listed as Hispanic, another whose race was listed as "E." There are 15 reports with no race listed.

I looked at the demographics of the area in question, and it's around 50% "minority", but most of that "minority" is listed as Asian-American. The white school going population is probably a lot lower than 50%, but it's still suspicious that no Asians or "whites" are listed as suspects.

Again, there could be bias here.

That was an old bill must have been worth a lot more than 2 dollars.

There's no missing a point in regards to that girl or other middle school kids getting hit with felonies or misdemeanors over money they clearly received from their parents. No 13 year old is going to take money from a guardian, whip out their counterfeit pin they received on their 10th birthday, and say "oh okay this is a fake bill grandma why are you playing, time to scam the lunch lady at middle school with this anyway lol"

You can harp on "this is standard procedure" all you want which misses the issue entirely. Every adult involved in that article is mentally stunted. You can't even work at part time job at 13 for any kind of income so why the fuck is a child open to these kinds of charges
