I don't use read receipts, but why do you feel that way?


They cause Outlook to give you an extra pop-up when you click on the email that tells you the sender has requested that you notify them when you've read the email.

Clicking "yes" on the pop-up doesn't necessarily mean you've read the email (especially since it pops up right when you click on the email), so it's kinda useless and it's just an extra annoyance.
