Constantly returning non-defective items with no explanation? I'd ban them too...it sounds like people trying to get/use things without having to pay for them.

This has been a thing for a while. If you keep making returns, they're gonna be losing money on you. You're not worth keeping around as a customer.

I'm sure that the number of returns is super super high for this to happen.

On the same side of the coin, Amazon needs to do a better job of vetting vendors. There is some shady shit on Amazon.

This is true too

Was just going to say theyve been doing this for years. They even warn you before they drop the hammer.

This is usually Amazon direct, though. Stuff you order through the A-Z marketplace is kind of at your own risk like eBay. Amazon will have your back though. Any issues with an amazon fulfillment vendor item amazon is aces about dealing with. I

Meh, if anything Amazon has been overly generous regarding returns so I understand they're going to take a stand on constant orders at a hundred dollar scale like the woman mentioned in the article.

What Amazon needs to really get on top on is their fucking Same-Day courier service, it's like 5x worse than any of the main mail/delivery franchises out there.

What part of the article makes that claim?

Anyway what happens in regard to Kindle store and there other digital stores? Can people still download things they have purchased from there?

I have never received a used item from Amazon and I have been using them for a very long time. Third party is a different story but then I use A-Z. No need to make shit up.

It seems weird to completely ban them from purchasing, though... couldn't they just suspend their ability to make returns?

I'm pretty sure customer's have a legal right to return faulty items, which stores can't revoke.

It's a big problem in the online clothes retail industry with people "buying" shit to wear to an event then returning it the following week. Some vendors are far too generous and have things like 90 day return policies. Why the fuck do you need 3 months to figure out if you want the t-shirt or not, lol
