Don't you just love how stupid that logic is?
I really like almost all the Saw movies, even though they're all pure schlock after the first one, but this shit's always twisted my nut hairs into a knot. And what's worse is that the "good guys" like cops and detectives in these movies say it as well. It'd be passable if Jigsaw was just delusional with an embarrassingly poor understanding of the law. If you enjoyed the rest, Jigsaw is at least worth a watch. Not the best, but not the worst.

I haven't actually seen a Saw movie... Only snippets and various youtube reviews etc.
But from my understand the first few movies were actually very decent horror/murder mystery films that deserve a fair watch and not just "torture porn" The later movies were the ones that got over convoluted and kept trying to drag the movies out and adding more torture. --- "When it's cold, and when it's dark....
