Well, just judging by the story, I can pretty much 100% believe this without you ever mentioning it. I live in a red state with a lot of this guy. He literally plagues the diners and restaurants complaining about Obama but always under a different face.

I don't see what he's even trying to preserve. Most of the Americas is pretty mixed anyway. It's not like "white" and "black" are specific in any way. Scottish, Czech, Zulu, Shona, etc. are legitimately different and recognizable groups. "Whiteness", "blackness", etc., is superficial and meaningless. There's no real major genetic or cultural separation under those umbrellas. It amounts to "you're mixed and ended up that colour."

That's arguing to the wrong crowd though. It doesn't matter what umbrella you're under as long as you live your life in the particular pigment.
