supposedly, in the movies, the stones don't have the power to create things. they do in the comics though. in the comics, Thanos creates a female clone of himself after getting frustrated with Lady Death

and all characters. the rule of thumb is that the comic versions are always more powerful. for whatever reason, movies always nerf the power of everyone.
