You just end up being embarrassed by your actions later instead of in the moment.

The trick to avoiding that is to never not be drunk. 100% success rate

It helps with me a bit. I don't think I'm actually able to get drunk anymore like I used to though.

This is a logic I can get behind.

You don't need to feel embarrassed if you just deny everything that happened when you were drunk.

Yeah but I'm too sane to be able to dissociate with reality like that.

I think Im more inclined to show interest in people. Im usually a good person to drink with cause most people become super narcissistic conversation wise and just want to talk. I usually just ask questions to deepen the conversation and let them talk. I actually think I disappoint people I drink with when they see me again and Im not drunk. Like "who is this boring apathetic guy? Wheres that fun hype dude from the other night?". Im also the guy that does shit like runs through bonfires when Im drunk. Im just overall more exciting to be around

Being flatout drunk yes. But being buzzed numbs your anxiety enough to the point where you can come out alot easier. I'm usually pretty socially successful after a few beers.

I don't understand your comment. I'm sane as well, but I can effectively dismiss anything I do while completely blitzed. "Drunk me" has no ties to "normal me".

Being buzzed is much better for social anxiety.

I'm on prescription stimulants so buzzes don't exist for me. At least not mental buzzes, just the body buzz.
