I can't speak to the PC version but yeah transversing has always been a chore on maps, which is why they let you retry it. The slipperiness is kind of part of the appeal, because it lets you pull off some awesome moves, and it means levels can't really be beaten the same way consistently every time. Its part of the appeal!

I am certain that I I never got that either my friend did it pretty easily on his game, but when he tried to get it for me, it wouldn't work. some kind of weird difference between computers.
