Climbing out is insanely hard. People will claim all you need to do is carry but its simply not true. Once you set your intial MMR the game makes it hell to fix it.

honestly it's just tedious to climb out

I was climbing(slowly) with a 35%~ winrate because my SR losses were in the single digits while my wins were 20-25SR gains. The mental hit of constantly losing was worse than the actual SR loss per game tbh.

Yup its super demoralizing. I love the game but I just cant play anymore because anything below diamond is a cesspool and I wont buy a smurf just to get out.

My biggest regret in this game was perhaps joining competitive back when it came out during season 1. Nobody knew what they were doing and most of the time the people that do were on the opposing team as me so I got ROFLstomped a lot. That made the rest of my comp hell as I was stuck in high bronze/low silver and I eventually gave up around season 6.

Season 1 was awesome. Torb and Bastion were the kings of cheese.

The key to quick play is to not take it seriously. That's why I only play quick play. Because it's fun. People in competitive take the game way to seriously. I just wanna play a few rounds and have some fun. And that's what quick play excels at.

I'd rather play quickplay than competitive where everyone blames each other for losing and takes no responsibility.

When I play as Dva I feel like I'm just playing on a different level than all of my teammates. I always get golds, POTG, or both on Dva and it isn't even my most played character. Like this shit is Jiren at the ToP different level.

I suck at Doomfist though, can't rack up too many elims but I keep trying
