Got 3 job offers this week. One in an actual school (I accepted) and two online jobs. I decided to take the higher paying online job and told the other I would have to pass. They replied asking me how much the other company offered me. Told them $18/hour while they offered $14. They counter offered with the same salary while guaranteeing my hours (if no students then full salary still, the other company only paid half salary for those contracted offers).

For the one company I already had them make alterations to the contract to change the schedule. Now I need to tell her again that I either can't accept the position or once again change the schedule (if I do both jobs, I could do this one on Monday/Saturday). I kinda feel bad about it.

It's nice having so many places wanting me to work but choosing is fucking stressful.

Now I'm back at not knowing what to do again. The contract for the place that made the counter offer is worrying. It's normal for these online teaching gigs to have penalties and with something as simple as "2 complaints in a month" causing you to lose 10 hours pay makes me hesitant, more so with the fact that it's 4 to 1 classes which greatly increases the amount of students which increases the likelihood of a complaint.

Thailand. $18/hour tax free while living in Asia is really good money. Doing 15 hours per week online will pay more than my in school job that requires me to be there for 40 hours per week (only teach 18 hours per week though).
