Just for insight, the reason why ME3 happened was because Asari wouldn't share the knowledge that would've INSTANTLY ended the war. Not leading to possibly billions of deaths. Excluding ME3 portrayal of Cerberus and ME3, by then EA had indoctrinated Bioware too far. TIM was a visionary and people like Mordin (until he became a krogans play toy in ME3, completely degrading his species) agreed with his methods.
