Ultra doesn't deviate much from the base game, it just added a ton of shit. So if you like more content, just play Ultra. But if you already have Moon, may as well play that rather than spend $40 on an expansion. The new stuff is mostly for folks playing for the postgame. --- Alkaloid: It's just water in a cup. ... I would play the original if you have it. I guess you could always gift it to someone and get Iltra instead. It's up to you how you want to use your money, though...

Sun/Moon were never worth playing at all, Ultra has a few redeeming factors but most people won't appreciate them
