So I've ordered a videogame from a third party seller on Amazon a few days ago, and supposedly it got shipped on the 10th but my card was only billed the same day I decide to contact the seller on the 14th, asking about my order, because by then I hadn't been notified by the postal services/whatever company was supposed to deliver it. Bit of a coincidence I say? lol What do you think? I've asked him/her already and I'm waiting for a reply.. And I' still waiting for my item.

Contact Amazon if you dont get a response. Double check their shipping method first.

I did already and I'm waiting, but I find it really odd that my card was charged only on the 14th when the item supposedly shipped on the 10th, I highly doubt the seller would charge my card days after shipping, an on the same day I contact him about the delay.

If he's processing card payments by hand it could have taken a few days.

As long as it's not past the date that it's supposed to be delivered, then I wouldn't really worry about. Amazon comes down hard on 3rd party sellers, and you're covered by Amazon's policy regardless if you buy from Amazon or some no name seller.

According to Amazon it will charge your card only when the items ship so I'm left thinking that seller must've sent the items on the 14th only (amazon gives seller 2 days to ship) and talked to me pretending that it was taking longer than usual for a number of other reasons. Hopefully I'm wrong.

there was also a massive snow storm in the NE area over the last few days, so maybe that had something to do with it?

Nah.. I'm in Europe. I order from amazon.es or co.uk from time to time and usually get everything in 4/5 days max, I think this seller is being dishonest. This was the first and last time I order from the marketplace. And I think Amazon should provide customers an option to simply block third party sellers from the shopping lists.
