Jeff AKA Snoopy 02/20/18 2:46:35 PM #1:	Goku used to be this figure of light, so to speak. His character in Dragon Ball was this immovable character of good, or if not "good", at least innocence. Thus the payoff of seeing this ultimate figure of innocence and light being able to destroy ultimate evil is such an amazing payoff. In Dragon Ball Super, he just comes across like this idiot stick moron who loves to fight. He's turned into this goon who puts everything and everyone at risk because "Durrr, I LIEK TO FIGHT!" The dude literally did absolutely everything Babidi wanted him to do cause fighting Vegeta would have been awesome. Super as a whole feels way less gritty than DBZ did.
