As disturbing as a lot of foot fetish people are, the rule does seem like unnecessary overreach. Like should streamers always wear socks in case of an accidental glance of the foot? Or maybe socks are banned too, I dunno'.

I mean, if this rule even exists. I'm having trouble finding this rule's actual existence. I'm kinda' wondering if this might be connected to some other rule being broken than a total ban on feet.

It's a weird rule. Idc much about feet. But like Golden_Road said, accidents could happen. Someone might have to get up for whatever reason. And there are a lot of people who don't wear anything on their feet in their own house, so...

Well, they do have to keep up an appearance as a place advertisers would want to peddle their wares, and gigantic funbags are a tested and time-honored retail tradition.

But why is a foot fetish being concerned about when the normal thing that gets people going isn't cared about?

I don't care really either way, but like...what is their thinking behind this. That is something I am wondering.

Well, I don't know specifically, but I can hazard some guessing. Although being one of the most popular fetishes overall it's still presumably seen as odd by a majority, hence fetish. Where titties are a more unifying sexual object, within any given group someone could point out a pair of hooters and have little fear of anyone else sincerely exclaiming, "Dude, what the fuck?" Also, despite the availability of bathing and the fact most feet are probably ensconced daily within socks and shoes, they may still be considered as dirty or distasteful as they're the part which makes contact with the floor, albeit indirectly, throughout the day. In summary, I guess they're just not mainstream enough and Twitch is going to go with whatever they think advertisers are most comfortable with since they pay the bills.
