I'm more of a "rehab over punish" type of guy, but clearly this guy isn't going to see freedom again. But there should still be resources devoted to make sure he improves. I guess he can be still visited by you in prison. Maybe he will turn his life over to God in there. He's been through some shit lately too. He haven't seen his child in almost years because his ex doesn't want the kid around him, so he's still beat up about that. About a year ago, his last girlfriend had her brother shoot up his house and we were helping them get through all of that with court in all. About a week ago, him and my mom got into a huge fight and he was sending her death threats, so no she's pretty much done trying to help him. He wanted to do this Uber eat thing because he figured if he got a job, it would have to be something where he didn't have to deal with people too much. So this was better opposed to driving people around. Even when he seems "fine," you can tell something about him is off. Just one mistake and he would go off like that. And again, he's this huge gun nut and I've always had feeling that something bad would come from that. My mom is still trying to figure out whether or not she even want to help him this time. I've noticed some news outlets are bringing up battery charges he received in 2010 and I know exactly what they're referring to: He and my other uncle were living together at one point. One day the other uncle forgot to pick him up from work and left him stranded. When he got home, he found out the other uncle smoked some kind of marijuana medicine thing he had (illegally) and nearly killed him with a pair of brass knuckles.
