Also kind of this (not really spoilers). The fanbase fell in love the characters too much and the series kinda suffered to pander to the meta-narrative.

Yeah it does slow down when you go into that investigation mode.

Which I didn't know was part of a lawyer's job.

But holy crap is it satisfying when some boso is like "ha ha ha nobody can prove that" and then you drop that evidence like a bomb. Take that!

I would totally be a lawyer if cases were as exciting as they are in the Phoenix Wright games. It's waaay too drawn out IRL and I wouldn't have the patience for it.

Just finished replaying Justice For All last night. Been about 8 years since my first time, so I had forgotten a lot of the details.

I played that Layton vs. Wright game last year, then finally had the chance to play through AAI2. After that, I replayed AAI1 and started replaying the 3DS remaster trilogy.

Still never played Dual Destinies or Spirit of Justice, so I'll get to those after the Apollo Justice remaster.
