We also have guns. People are rarely shot. Usually someone is only shot because of a drug problem. Our country has continuously refused to do anything meaningful about that. They cant fix the drug problem. The same people who seem to think we dont have a drug problem are usually the ones convinced we have a gun problem. My wife had 17 surgeries and nearly died due to a drunk semi driver. She required many experimental surgeries in order to fix her leg. Some of the irradiated bone used in her surgery is thought to have led to her development of medullary thyroid cancer which she has now had 3 times. She will never find a pair of shoes that fit properly and will always wonder in the back of her mind when the cancer might return. She is scared now every time she drives past a large semi truck. We do not support a ban of semi trucks or alcohol.
