I think a lot of them will actually be possible or widespread within our lifetimes.

Not specifically on topic, but why do people like Black Mirror? I'll admit to only watching through the first season, but what I saw was the most cringe worthy nonsense ever.

The show came off as one big, "Buh social media and those kids always looking at their damn cellular telephones! Ruining everything!"

It is a tired concept.

Seems like you missed the entire concept of it all really and just want to bitch.

If you think it's preachy I think you're reading into something there's not there.

The things from Metalhead are already here, even though they can't do what they do in the episode.

I think the tech from Nosedive very possibly will be a thing sometime in the next 20-50 years.

Nosedive was pretty terrifying, you'll literally lose friends because your score is too low.

If they're good people then there is no risk involved.

Yeah, the China app is creepy as fuck. And it's less about accountability to other people, but more accountability to the government, which is worse.

Trump is pretty much Waldo

David Cameron probably didn't fuck a dead pig, but it's fun to think that he did.

As far as actual technologies, the dream-memory thing in Crocodile doesn't seem TOO far fetched.

The AR implant probably isnt too far fetched.

Cookies though, i dont see it happening. At least not in the scale of a small tablet.

I can see computer become complex and powerful enough to emulate a whole human software, but the brain connection bandwith . . .

Eh i dont see such a small surface can have enough bandwith / connection.

It probablu require much more invasive operation procedure, or at best those hair nets filled with censor or really cumbersome helmets with a giant computer attached to them.

Yeah I think transparent and paper-thin personal devices will be a thing. Maybe even collapsible and expandable.

I was reading a blog though and they made a good point, a device that small with so much power seems like it could be misplaced easily.

To an extend I suppose the tech from Hated in the Nation. Not so much the bees themselves (though advances have/are being made there), but the very extensive tracking software they use.

Shut up and Dance could happen right now I think.

Yeah I would say that one is the most easily possible one. Perhaps the Waldo one and Pig one as well. None of them really rely heavily on futuresque tech though.
