It's official. You can say Christians are close-minded, cult-like, and hateful and you won't get modded.

Imagine making broad generalizations like that against other groups. Imagine saying that about Muslims or Blacks. I thought the no-tolerance rule way just that: anything that even resembles an insult against a group of people will be considered a flame?

No, it isnt. In your analogy the law enforcement officer has no knowledge of the offense. In this actual scenario that the TC is explaining, the incident was reported to the moderation staff that actively decided it was not a violation.

Like I said, I was under the impression that it was a no tolerance rule. If people can be marked for calling alt-right groups hate groups, why wouldn't someone be marked for doing the same with Christians?

I actually agree with you, they're absolutely not the most discriminated. But I will say they're one of the most unfairly discriminated, often.
