To take those jobs, you practically never go home. It sounds nice for the perks, but you practically have to give up your social and personal life for it. I best most are miserable, even those that hide it.

Their social lives probably revolve around other flight attendants. Luckily for them, flight attendants generally have to be more attractive, as part of the job.
