Let's rip off this band-aid instead of dancing around the subject: TC is suggesting, though he will not say it directly, that the prevalence of gay figure skaters is the result of rampant sexual abuse.

I do not agree with that assessment.

I would point out that it's specifically the solo men that end up this way. The pairs skaters are not, and conveniently they're not left alone with their coaches because they have the girl with them.

Holy fuck. THAT'S what he's trying to say? I've always just assumed that figure skating is just something straight dudes just aren't into to the degree that gay dudes are. I didn't even realize he was taking that angle. Wow, that's pretty despicable imo.
