The only bookstore is a Barnes and Noble which is too far away to even bother. Sure we have libraries, but its different.

I don't really like regular bookstores. They always seem too expensive. I prefer used bookstores.

Physical media in general is dying out. Physical music, DVDs, videogames are all in various stages of decline due to technological progress. Books and magazines are no different.

Enthusiasts are precious about having their physical collections on a shelf, but for the average consumer the conveniences of digital delivery outweigh everything else.

Just anecdotally my Barnes and Noble is always pretty packed. I go there about once a week or so with my daughter and let her pick out a book.

I love Barnes & Noble. We have a nice, 2 story one where I live...great place to browse and chill. It's a shame it won't be there forever, and I admit I contribute to that by buying books on Amazon.

I never really liked used book stores, though it can be fun finding some rare books that B&N doesn't stock anymore. I like my books to be in mint condition when I buy them, and used book stores look so unorganized. I don't care about the price either. Books are a cheap form of entertainment either way.
