I doubt this is going to happen aslong as the story/lore is being developed for World of Warcraft. I would love to see it too, but it won't be any time soo I fear.

But I'd love a Warcraft 3 RoC + TFT remaster, would be one of the few day 1 buys for me.

I mean given that they go completely backwards in time in WoW I don't see why they couldn't do like a Warcraft 4 as a prequel. They could totally make an entire campaign and a half regarding the original Lich King, banishment of Illidan, etc.
