So there will always be a need for a lawyer, even if the guy is the biggest pos ever. Ever notice how nobody bags on the lawyers who have to defend these kinds of ppl? When defense counsel knows their client did commit the crime they focus on trying to find justice and creating rehabilitation for their client. If you just send someone to prison for say 10 years that doesn't necessarily take care of everything. That person is eventually going to come out of prison and if they are reintroduced into the world either poverty stricken, still mentally ill or probably both then the chances of them recommitting a crime are huge. So most lawyers in that position just try to make sure that doesn't happen. --- Others find humanity by looking in their own hearts.
