Since Virtual Box is free and open source why hasn't anyone tried to make a version of it that can play games a lot better than the original?

It has no 3D acceleration support in Windows 9x so playing games made for those version of Windows won't work mostly.

It would be nice if someone would make a better, more improved version of it to give it 3D support for all versions of Windows and really optimize it for playing games.

@FightingGames If you have a low end computer like i do there's no way you can play 3D games on say Windows 98 in an emulator right now because it needs fairly good hardware to run at playable speeds.
