Schools already run drills to train the staff and students during normal school hours how to act in the case of an active shooter, similar to fire drills.
Just because they are not armed does not mean they hide and barricade themselves from harm. Also my high school at the very least had a few security guards around during normal school hours. I would hope this is the case with other schools, if not than maybe other schools need to improve their security before arming teachers. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!
