The fact they just left their ship in the middle of a populated beach, were told that it was illegal, and then just didn't give a shit.

And then later on, are surprised when it is being impounded.

Why the fuck wouldn't they just try to hide it in the field?

No doubt, but it's just so colossally stupid and I never see anyone list it out whenever they list out the huge flaws with the movie.

Like I feel that scene was far more stupid than any of the numerous stupid tactics that are pointed out in regards to the resistance storyline. I can believe that Rian is an idiot who wouldn't understand how logical battle would work.

but like...why would he write Finn and Rose as having no idea how parking works?

Like the more I think about it the more everything about it baffles me.

They're told to move their shit, and they don't.

But instead of impounding it right then, or impounding it after they are thrown in jail, they don't impound it until they are specifically about to escape.

Like I can't decide if they are dumb, or if they thought the audience was so dumb that they wouldn't *get* that it was impounded if they didn't specifically show it getting impounded.
