One of my old jobs had me working 70 hours a week because at the time only a few people in the US could even do it. (not counting my direct boss) I didn't mind the hours because I ran my own show. No stress because I was left to do it all without supervision whatsoever. Well, new management fell over the company and within days high brass was on my ass even when I was in the bathroom. I decided it would be funny as fuck to just stay home one day. They actually tracked my ass down. We'll call him the HR guy. He never saw me, but I made him easily enough to stealth out. So I was like fuck it, stayed home day 2 and early on brought all my gear straight to the guy who tracked me to a location. The HR guy. I told him my boss would have to cover 12 hour days 7 days a week to compensate and you're welcome. Felt good as I left.
