I've been schooling myself on the ins and outs of FL Studio lately but man what a mess. Almost nothing is intuitive. I'm sure the other DAWs are more user-friendly but at this point I'm too invested to start again, and it seems to be the most powerful for what I need it for anyway.

Currently sequencing some drum tracks.

Missed band practice last night, worked late and forgot about the new rehearsal schedule -_- I'm a recent addition to a bossa nova / jazz / blues band (as the brass guy), so that was a blunder for the ages.

That aside working on a few compositions, closest to completing a blues song and an orchestrated waltz.

I spent all day yesterday trying to get decent recordings of some stuff I'm working on just for reference to figure out what works and what doesn't. I listened to them again this morning and suddenly it all sounds very bad. But ah well... at least I learned some important things along the way.

How many unfinished songs do you guys suppose you have right now?
