Out of the 6 Lucas films, half of them are OBJECTIVELY TRASH.

Out of the old EU books, 99% of them are objectively trash

Out of the 2 Disney films, one is a rehash of the OT and the other is OBJECTIVELY trash

Why is Star Wars the most popular franchise in America when like 70% of the things involved with it are objectively TRASH?

The only redeeming quality is the video games. but considering there hasnt been a good SW game in at least a decade, and EA is the sole owner of the SW license and seems pretty intent on pumping out shit games, it's only a matter of time before even the vid games are Objectively Trash.

Disagree. Out of the prequel trilogy I only found Episode 3 to be good. 1 was mediocre and 2 just plain sucked.

TFA was a rehash sure, but I enjoyed it, and aside from the Finn subplot I have no idea why some people hate TLJ to their core.

What multi-million-dollar American franchise isn't at least 75% trash? The Simpsons stopped being good around season 10-13 & all the video games have been terrible spare for two or so exceptions, but I don't think I need to explain why it's so beloved.

After that first chord in glorious movie theater audio, the whole film can be Anakin pretending to die while Padme runs over and then they both laugh for two hours and I honestly wouldn't care.
