200 million won converts to around $180,000. At the age of 20, I'm guessing he borrowed that much money vs he had that much money.

Getting large loans to throw into an unproven and highly volatile 'market'. Smooth.

Incredibly sad he felt he had to kill himself over money though.

There's a lot of predators out there promising people they'll be rich if they just invest in bitcoin now. "Bitcoin is gonna be over a million dollars in the next 5 years"

I had to reread that several times to realize that "won" is a name of a currency.

If you ain't willing to pull that money out in cash and light it on fire right then and there then you shouldn't invest it

No that's terrible advice. You should always be investing your money. Just not into Ponzi schemes like crypto.

He said if you aren't willing to pull the money out and set it on fire, you shouldn't invest. That's absolute bullshit. If you aren't investing in retirement and your other savings, you are missing out on a lot if gains.

Investing shouldn't be seen as some crazy gamble you do on the side. There are tons of options for you with various degrees of risk, and you absolutely should be investing most of your savings.
