Statistics are incredibly disingenuous on this. First of all, I'm not gonna shoot myself. So suicide, which is where most of this comes from, is off the table. Secondly, I'm not stupid and I don't have kids. So having a gun for myself makes sense. Not only do I like to protect myself like I have the god damn right to. I like shooting. It's fun. I think its safe to say such shooting are a symptom of something wrong in our country rather the a disease in and of itself.
