i keep seeing this thing with average men being "unfuckable" and that you have to be AT LEAST above average to stand a chance with women or something, is it true?

Its a bit of an exaggeration. What is true is that the average women will have a much more easier time getting laid than an average male.

Pretty much, imo. Average is boring. Like plain looks, average income, nothing really special about the person. A guy needs to have gifted genes, an exceptional personality, loads of talent, great finances, etc to really stand out. Even better if you've got all of the above.

In any "girl advice" topic a guy will be like "How do I get a girl?" And the responses are always "Go to the gym and get jacked, get a good hairstyle, dress nice, be confident, funny, charming, have a good job and great financial outlook, social circle, etc.." Like you basically have to be the perfect specimen of a human being, even if that's not really the case.

For women it seems like all they have to do is exist and they got dudes all over them 24/7. No matter how plain/below average looking, how boring, how bitchy, etc.
