If you're hugging a corner on your left side, you have no fucking business hugging that corner. Stay on the RIGHT side of the hallway and once you pass the threshold, then you can make your turn.

Why is this so hard? Why are idiots constantly walking into each other because they're up against the corner from both sides?

I avoid it by walking down the middle, because if I hear someone around the corner, I just assume they're an idiot who is gonna be up against their left side.

At my last job there were large round mirrors hanging at all the major intersections so you could always see if someone was coming.

People have this thing about when something isn't technically a rule, and it pisses me off.

Like just this topic, for example. If everyone walks on the right side of the hallway, we have no problems. And everyone knows this. But people walk on the left side because YOU CAN'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO.

And not just hallways.

I mean none of these are unreasonable requests. Just walk on the right side of the hall, move out of the way when you come to a stop, stay away from the door if you're smoking, and generally be a decent person.
