Can't find a good micro usb cable without at least a few hundred reviews telling that the product is shit, while the other hundreds of reviews say it's perfect.

Who do I believe?

What I do is look for most critical reviews both positive and negative.

Usually it is obvious when the negative reviews are from competitors trying to prevent people from buying other brands. It is also obvious when good reviews are by the same company that sells the item as they will not contain much information or just vague descriptions.

Most of the negative reviews in products with high ratings have no comments/just say product sucks without explaining as they are paid reviews

The thing is all these critical cable reviews write paragraphs about how every cable killed itself after months or even days, so they aren't the paid ones.

That's why I can't stand online reviews. Maybe the only "real" ones show up when you filter by lowest score, haha.

Honestly though, it's just a micro USB cable. It should be fairly inexpensive and really only needs to serve one function/purpose. You're not investing thousands of dollars into priceless electronics or something.. just pick one.

Then just get an Amazon basics usb cable and if it breaks then ask for a replacement

Ignore this and take the advice of Mikablu. I have ordered multiple 3 and 6 packs of braided mini usb chargers from a couple of companies on amazon and not one has failed me, I tend to lose them or give them away to people like co-workers. There's little to worry about, especially for a $10 or so purchase.
