I've only been watching since Georgia's last TD, so I have to say that I have no idea why you wanted them to go for 2 there. Like even if you had more confidence in Georgia's offense, there was still a ton of time for a game-winning FG.

Honestly... REALLY close to call between UGa, Bama and OU. I can't say they are objectively the best. (Not to mention Penn St.).

But I can undoubtably say they earned it and belonged.

That's one selector. I have no problem with them claiming a Title. But that's all it is. A TITLE. They aren't the Champions.

A Title is something awarded to you by someone. A Championship is something you win.

And just as there have been many years there have been split Titles, but one team is obviously better and would win well more than 75% of the games if played. (Michigan in 97 would die for instance) Same here.

Bama is the Champions, and would crush UCF 90+% of the time.

From what I saw of Alabama over the past 2 weeks and UCF in their bowl game, I doubt that.
The x factor though is second half reffing. It's hard to overcome.

It's hard to say that though since UCF never even got a shot, are undefeated, and beat the team that beat Alabama.

I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm just saying a team that didn't even win its own conference is the 'national champion' and an undefeated team didn't even get a shot.

I can't put this any clearer.....

They were put in because NO ONE else deserved it (except PSU, but they were fucked over by the committee hard).

There were 3 teams that clearly, clearly were at the top. And there were then 4 teams that were all flawed.... 2 of them were SEVERELY FLAWED. You can not put in 2 loss dominated OSU or USC. So it comes down to Wisky or Bama. Wisky was fucked over by OSU being an insane fan base, and therefore they were never gonna get in over OSU because "they beat them in the Championship" like that means any fucking thing at all.

I would have had no issue with Wisky.

But Bama WON THE MOTHER FUCKING NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!!!!

Stop acting like they somehow didn't belong on this stage...

I would have absolutely put OSU over Alabama because they actually beat good teams, and feel pretty vindicated since the Big Ten won all their bowl games save Regular Michigan.

Alabama's best opponent beat them and finished 10-4.
