Im trying to finish the first draft of this script I want to send to Nickelodeon for their writing fellowship, and I shouldve finished it back in the 1st.
And this damn voice keeps telling me how awful my work is. Its distracting. And if I dont work past it and finish the draft by this weekend, Im gonna be super backed up and might not be happy with what I have by the end of the month. Tell me nice things. It's Nickelodean, they want distracting and awful. You would think so, but they want things like specs for Rick and Morty, BoJack Horseman, Arrested Development and a whole lot more. The only Nick shows I see is PJ Masks. And that's only for the Preschool Track, which also has Crazy Ex Girlfriend, for some reason. Even Steven Universe is an option for writers here. --- ... What kind of script are you writing? Im writing a BoJack Horseman script. In January I storyboarded and prewrote specs for that, Steven Universe, and Its Always Sunny, and ultimately decided on BoJack because I thought it had the most potential for witty situations and because it would give me a chance to see how well I could pun. Its a little hard, but I can see it coming together nicely. This first draft so far is rooooooooouuuuuuuugggghhhh though.
