I liked Harry Potter, Frankenstein, Great Expectations, Animal Farm, Sideways Stories from Wayside School and To Kill a Mockingbird.

I HATED Pride and Prejudice. It was the most boring God awful PoS I have ever read.

That's one of the worst books I ever read

Of Mice and Men

Loved that book.

Crucible was pretty good if a bit sad. And The Giver was also really good. Only ones I absolutely hate were Romeo and Juliet, and The Glass Castle, which was so shit I stopped reading it and got a bad grade on some test.

Oryx and Crake

Definitely. Introduced me to Atwood.

And Catch-22 remains one of my favorite books of all time.

My favorite I read in high school was Woman of the Pharisees.

I really wanted to become a famous director and make an adaptation and cast Emma Watson in the lead role.

We read a story about a girl lost in a swamp or something....and it followed her love of a baseball player? I don't remember it now but it was enjoyable at the time.

That sounds like the Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon by Stephen King

I actually loved Jane Eyre, after the initial struggle through the first few chapters. Of the 23 books I was forced to read in my AP Literature class, I really enjoyed most of them.

Novels like Ethan Frome, Time Machine, 1984, and Snow Falling on Cedars were especially memorable.

I absolutely HATED Brave New World and The Scarlet Letter, though.

Greek plays and the like werent my thing.
